This is terrific! Go to SelectSmart.com and see how the candidates fit with what’s important to YOU.

***It’s been brought to our attention that this site sends out  SPAM e-mails. Here’s the trick to avoid that – after you’ve made all of your suggestions, a screen comes up and asks for your e-mail. DON’T FILL IT IN. There is a link at the very top of the page to move you to the results page. Once there, don’t fill out the section that says “E-mail Results.”

This is just a fun questionnaire – we all came up with a 100% match with a “theoretical candidate.” The next closest match was 60%! Not so great, we think!!

  1. MONTY WOMACK

    WARNING!!!!
FOLKS THIS MAY WORK EVENTAULLY BUT BEWARE THAT IT WILL DELUGE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT WITH SPAM. I QUIT AFTER IT BECAME OBVIOUS WHAT THE REAL DEAL WAS!!

  2. Thanks for the mention of our selector. However, the comment that we send out spam emails is totally incorrect. NO email addresses (or names, etc.) are required to use our selectors. On the top of the results page, it says:
“Please check out these special offers while your results load. Or click HERE to go directly to your results.”

Our advertisers would certainly like to hear from you, but it is absolutely NOT required to see your results for the selector. We do not send emails to visitors, nor do our advertisers unless you’ve indicated an interest in their products and voluntarily supplied your name and email address.

  3. One more correction to your post. You say “Once there, don’t fill out the section that says “E-mail Results.” Clicking that link is actually an ordinary email link. The email is pre-populated with your results and a subject line reading “2008 President Selector http://selectsmart.com/president/2008.html“. As with any email, you can add to it or edit it. We never see it nor know to whom or what you are sending. It’s a convenience for people who want to send their results to friends (or themselves). Go ahead, click it without trepidation, it’s quite benign. It’s certainly not a scheme to spam people as you claim. We respectfully encourage you to correct your misapprehension and misstatement. Thanks.
