Sharon Stone’s China/Karma Comment

We know this isn’t really politics – but can someone PLEASE explain to us how Sharon Stone’s remark about the horrible earthquakes in China being “karma” for their human rights policies is any different than Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell saying the U.S. deserved 9/11 because of “the gays?”

This was an insensitive remark made by someone who obviously takes herself and her opinion WAY too seriously. The devastation in China is beyond words, and our hearts go out to the Chinese people. Let’s drop politics at a time like this and just be people.

    I am from Hong Kong.

I felt sorry for Sharon Stone, and her friend Dalai Lama whom she name-dropped in her remark.

Millions of innocent people are suffering and all she could offer is karma?

I have many good American friends. Guess she has just insulted the general IQ level of fellow Americans.

  2. Sharon Stone was quite correct about the earthquake being caused by China’s bad karma as a nation. Burma also has plenty has plenty of bad karma.
